Condition Migrante

Condition migrante is een psychiatrische verzamelterm voor klachten die migranten overal in de wereld hebben. Migratie is overal ter wereld een rouwproces. Het geeft een diepe vorm van rouw over het verlies van vertrouwde geuren, de landschappen, de taalklanken, de weersomstandigheden, vrienden, omgangsvormen en dergelijke. Ook als het migranten economisch goed gaat, dan nog ligt op de bodem van de ziel die vretende heimwee.

Condition migrante is a name of psychiatric terms about symptoms which immigrants have all over the world. Migration is a kind of mourning proces. It gives a deep form of mourning about losing familiar scents, the landscapes, sounds of the mother tongue, the weather, friends, customs etc. Even when immigrants are financially independent, then there still is the longing for coming back to the home country (home sick) deep in their soul.
